Stewart Warner Expands Popular, Nostalgic Wings' Line of Genuine-Look Gauges For Full Range Of Vehicles

CHICAGO -- Time-honored form meets modern, ultra-precise function in the expanded line of Stewart Warner "Wings" gauges for a broad range of vintage and late-model passenger cars and light, medium and heavy trucks. Stewart Warner Instrument Corporation develops and manufactures a complete line of innovative gauges, sensors, instrument clusters and information display systems.

Wings gauges from Stewart Warner combine nostalgic, easy-to-read analog facedials, teardrop pointers, bright chrome bezels and curved glass lenses with crisp, accurate response and rugged construction for superior durability. Identical in appearance to OE gauges of the 1940s and '50s, Stewart Warner Wings gauges provide the authenticity that classic car enthusiasts strive to achieve. Wings styling is now available in 34 electric or mechanical gauges with white or black facedials. Wings speedometers and tachometers are offered in 3-3/8-inch-diameter cases, while the rest of the line is available in 2-1/16-in. cases.

The Stewart Warner Wings line now includes these models:

Electric Gauges:

  • Speedometer -- 0-120 or 0-160 mph, programmable, with 1 million-mile odometer
  • Oil Pressure -- 0-80 psi
  • Water Temperature -- 100-240 degrees F
  • Voltmeter -- 10-16 volts
  • Fuel Level -- SWI Standard
  • Pyrometer -- 300 to 1,500 degrees F
  • Oil Temperature -- 140 to 320 degrees F
  • Diesel Tachometer -- 0-3,500 RPM
  • Tachometer -- 0-8,000 rpm, for four-, six- or eight-cylinder gasoline engines

Mechanical Gauges:

  • Speedometer -- 0-80 or 0-160 mph, with 100,000-mile odometer
  • Oil Pressure -- 5-80 psi
  • Water Temperature -- 100-265 degrees F
  • Truck Air Suspension -- 2-100 psi measured in 2-pound increments
  • Air Pressure -- 10-150 psi
  • Boost -- 0-40 psi, 0-30 hg
