EL PASO, TX.--March, 2000. Maxima Technologies, the group enterprise that includes the Stewart Warner brand of vehicle instruments and accessories, has introduced a new series of Stewart Warner-brand Wings^TM kits designed for truckers and automotive enthusiasts. Wings^TM is the popular 1940s-style line of instruments that were reintroduced in 1997.

Wings for Truckers^TM includes two kits, each with six instruments with either white-on-black or black-on-white graphics. Kits provide a speedometer (0-120 mph), tachometer (0-3500 rpm), fuel gauge, water temperature gauge, oil pressure gauge and voltmeter that are scaled for a heavy-duty application. Special pricing is available for truckers who purchase these kits as opposed to individual instruments. In addition, the firm has announced the availability of a new counter display for distributors.

Wings for Truckers^TM kits are intended to deliver the ideal combination of high-quality performance, reliability and good looks that today's customers demand. Instruments feature easy-to-read graphics, a curved lens, unique teardrop pointer and the classic Wings^TM logo. Units may be specified with either conventional black dials or automotive-style white dials with bright chrome bezels.

Silver Wings^TM is a natural complement for the standard Wings^TM line and Wings Gold^TM line that was introduced in 1998. Instruments feature a silver dial with black graphics, red-tipped teardrop pointer and chrome-plated bezel.
