Stewart Warner Responds To Enthusiasts' Demands With Deluxe 5-inch Performance Instruments

CHICAGO -- Custom car enthusiasts in search of new gauges with a classic look can find what they need in the new line of Deluxe 5-inch performance instruments produced by Stewart Warner Instrument Corporation.

Stewart Warner's history in instrument design and manufacturing dates back to the early 1920s, when the company provided gauges for Henry Ford's first automobile. The company develops and manufactures a complete line of innovative gauges, sensors, instrument clusters and information display systems.

Linking the old with the new, the Deluxe 5-inch performance instruments retrofit with a number of early model Ford and Chevy cars and trucks. Each gauge incorporates crisp Deluxe facedial graphics, raised stainless steel bezels, and white pointers with black hubs.

The 366ACY Four Gauge Cluster consists of electric oil pressure, water temperature, voltmeter, and fuel level gauges. It also incorporates all necessary senders and hardware. The 82698 Electric Programmable Speedometer, which can register a top speed of 160 mph, eliminates the need for special drive adapters for tire size and rear end changes, and works with either a mechanical shaft take off sender or a magnetic pick up for tone wheel applications. The 82699 Electric Programmable Tachometer works off the ignition coil and peaks at 10,000 rpms.
